How many cards will I need?
A.
Each vendor offers a different discount. You can refer
to our complete
list of vendors to see each vendor and discount
(whether per person or up to a certain number of people
per card). Below is a list of average number of cards
needed for each category of discounts:
Accommodations
- 1 Reservation per card. Must be booked directly through
the hotel or rental company. You MUST mention the Myrtle
Beach VIP Card at the time of booking. Your card must
be presented at check-in to grantee the discounted rate.
See each accommodation for discount details.
Nightclubs - Per Person/Per Card. May exclude
Special Events. (ie. special performances). Discounts
may be restricted due to age. See Nightlife Category
for individual details.
Restaurants - Average of 10% off entire food
bill. Excludes alcohol. (Each vendor's discount varies).
Attractions - Varies from Per Person/Per Card
to Entire Group.
Golf - Per Person/Per Card.
Shopping - 1 Card per Checkout.
Transportation - 1 Reservation per card.

Q. If I order more than one card,
do you need the names of each person?
A.
No. Names are not printed on each Myrtle Beach VIP Card.
However, each card is numbered so we can associate an
order with a card purchaser.
Q.
Ordering online "freaks me out". Is your site
secure?
A.
Our wording may seem strange, but customers have asked
this exact question. Our site is 100% secure using a
128-bit SSL Certificate, to offer secure communications
by encrypting all data to and from the site. Our company's
registration documents and site's registered domain
name has been verified by our secure certificate host.
If you have ANY question about the security of our site,
please check the bottom of the site to view our security
seal and note the security lock on the bottom right
of your browser's task bar. The lock will appear on
the order information and credit card pages.
Q. How will the charge appear on
my credit card statement?
A.
Our parent company is VIP Discount Cards and
this name will be reflected on your credit card statement
along with the total cost of your order.
Q.
How long is my Myrtle Beach VIP Card valid?
A.
Our current Myrtle Beach VIP Card is good until December
31, 2008, which is specified on the front
and back of the card.
Q.
I would like my cards mailed to my home. How long will
it take?
A.
Normally, all orders are mailed out within 24-48 hours,
excluding Sundays and holidays. Please allow 7 days
from shipping date to receive your order. Please note:
Canadian or International order may take longer. Please
make sure to include all proper address information
(i.e. Province in the CITY field).
Q.
Can I mail or fax in my order?
A.
Yes.
To place an order my mail, fill out our order form
as instructed. On the bottom of the form, after
HOTEL DELIVERY OPTION, make sure the "I Prefer
to Order Offline" section is checked. You will
be directed to a printable order form page with
mailing instructions. Payment by mail orders are
accepted by MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American
Express, Debit Cards, Check, or Money Order. Please
do not send cash.
Payments
made by check will increase the shipping time by
an additional three (3) days.
Faxed
orders can follow the same instructions above and
fax the printable order form to us at: 843-235-9207.
Sorry, check and money orders are not acceptable
by fax. Please make sure you include your credit
card information on your order form.
Q. If I'm arriving too
soon to receive my Myrtle Beach VIP Card (s) by mail, can
they be delivered to my Hotel or Rental Company?
A.
Yes.
If you order 2 or more cards, we can have your order delivered
to your hotel or rental company and they will be waiting
for you when you arrive. Orders are scheduled for delivery
by normal check-in time of 3pm. Early check-in does not
guarantee early delivery. Each order is hand delivered
and a signature is obtained from an authorized front desk
attendant. Your order is then placed with your reservation
information and will be waiting for you upon your arrival.
You must include your hotel/rental company name, address,
reservation name, and arrival date. We need at least two
(2) days notice to have your cards delivered. Cards can
only be delivered to Hotels/Rental Companies located from
North Myrtle Beach to Georgetown.
Please
make sure you are providing the proper location where
you are checking in and/or picking up keys to your rental
unit or condo. When checking in, we urge you to ask for
your order. If the attendant is unable to locate your
order is might be misplaced by the hotel/rental company
agent since all orders are delivered prior to your arrival.
If a problem with a delivery occurs, please have them
contact us directly at: 843-235-9847. We will provide
them with the date, time, signature, and the location
of envelope. We can not redeliver your order to a separate
location.
If
you are arriving later than fourteen (14) days from your
order date, we will have plenty of time to get your cards
mailed to your home and hotel delivery would not be necessary.
We do not wish to run a risk of your order being misplaced
by a hotel, rental company, or others.
Q.
What if I am not checking in at a Hotel/Rental Company
and I already have my key to a rental unit or condo. Can
I still have the VIP Cards delivered?
A.
No. We are unable to deliver directly to a rental unit
or condo because we can not guarantee a signature or
safe keeping of your order. As specified above, the
Myrtle Beach VIP Card is hand delivered and signed for
by a front desk attendant and is waiting for your arrival
and is kept with your reservation information.
Q. How does the hotel
know about my delivery?
A.
When we deliver to your hotel, we have a front desk clerk
sign for your order. They are asked to place your envelope
with your reservation information and give it to you upon
arrival. Note: Myrtle Beach VIP Card is not responsible
for orders lost by your hotel. We will, however, make
every attempt to track down your order based on our delivery
information and contacts at your hotel.
Q.
How will I know if you received my order?
A.
Once
you click the final submit button, you will be directed
to a confirmation page with your order number and card
information. You should also receive a confirmation
email within minutes of your order. This email contains
a link to check the status of your order. If you do
not receive an confirmation page or email your order
may not have been completed. If it has not been completed,
your credit card has not been charged. Please try to
place your order again or contact us directly to place
your order.
Q.
I'm a local resident. Can I purchase a card too?
A.
Of course! As a local, you can actually benefit the most
out of the Myrtle Beach VIP Card. As a resident you will
have more opportunities to use your VIP Card throughout
the year. If you'd like to place an order, fill out our
order form and place an arrival date of seven (7) days
from the date you are ordering. Our system will reject
orders that are arriving less than seven (7) days in advance.
This is normally used to make sure that we have enough
time to mail the card to customers outside of the Myrtle
Beach area. As a resident, the date will not apply to
you since all orders are shipped within 24-48 hours.
Q.
Why do you need my email address and issue me a password?
A.
Email addresses are needed to send confirmations to
the cardholder at the time of purchase. It is also used
for all correspondences with cardholders on problems
with orders, hotel deliveries, updates, etc. Your email
address is also used when you purchase new cards annually.
Your password allows you to quickly re-enter your information
for easy order purposes.
Q.
I think I ordered twice by mistake. What do I do?
A.
If you plan to order the Myrtle Beach VIP Card, do not
double-click the final SUBMIT button as this may cause
your credit card to be charged twice. It may take several
moments to process your order depending on your connection
speed or website traffic. If you believe you have been
charged twice, please contact us immediately by emailing
us at: customerservice@myrtlebeachvipcard.com.
We will make every attempt to cancel the second order
before your credit card is charged. If a second charge
is registered, we will be able to credit your account
for the duplicate order in full.
Q.
What happens if I lose my VIP Card?
A.
Unfortunately, if you lose your card, you'll have to order
another. Your Myrtle Beach VIP Card is considered the
same as cash. If you lose it, someone else can find it
and use it. It is very valuable and will bring you a huge
return on your membership. We urge to you to put your
Myrtle Beach VIP and Brochure with any travel documents
that you will be bring with you to our area for safe keeping.
Your Myrtle Beach VIP Card is transferable, BUT
MAY NOT BE RESOLD.
Q.
Do I have to present my Myrtle Beach VIP Card each time
I use in order to receive the discount?
A.
Yes. You must present the Myrtle Beach VIP Discount Card
each time you go to a participating vendor in order to
get their listed discount. Each vendor's discount varies,
so be sure to check our website for updated information
to see if their discount will be applied to only the cardholder
or the entire group. Please note: Some locations
will discount an entire food bill (not including alcohol,
tax and tip) and some are giving a free appetizer for
the purchase of two entrees (per person per card), so
it is important to select the proper amount of cards to
insure the best discount for you and your party.
Q.
How many times may I use my Myrtle Beach VIP Card at locations
that accept it?
A.
You may use your Myrtle Beach VIP Discount Card as many
times as you like, at any of our participating vendors,
until it's expiration date.
Q.
Can I use my VIP Card and combine it with other discounts?
A.
No. The Myrtle Beach VIP Card can not be combined with
any other discounts, coupons, specials, or promotions.
Q.
Do I need to show the brochure in order to receive a discount?
A.
No. The brochure is for your convenience. Only a valid
Myrtle Beach VIP Discount Card is needed to receive your
VIP Card discounts. It is a good idea to carry your brochure
with you to note all of the great money saving locations.
Q.
What happens if I lose by brochure?
A.
In most cases we can not send additional brochures since
it is pre-packaged with the Myrtle Beach VIP Card. You
can print a complete list from our website by clicking
COMPLETE LIST in our main navigation bar to the left of
the screen.
Q.
What happens if a merchant does not want to honor the Myrtle
Beach VIP Card?
A.
If a participating vendor does not want to accept your
valid Myrtle Beach VIP Discount Card, ask to speak with
the manager. It may be possible that a new employee may
not be fully trained in the establishment's participation.
All participating vendors have signed, legal contracts
with us. If for any reason you have a problem, after speaking
with a manager at a location, please contact us immediately
and we will assist you. Our phone number is provided on
the back of your Myrtle Beach VIP Card.
The
Myrtle Beach VIP Card Company cannot assume any responsibility
or liability for any claims, loss or delay, disappointment,
distress or frustration, whether physical or mental, resulting
from any act or omission.

Can I renew my Myrtle Beach VIP Card?
A.
You do not need to renew your card. Once your card has expired
you will need to place a new order for your card(s). You
can order new cards online through our quick order process
by entering your email and password or call us at: 843-235-9847.
